Sunday 12th December is the last series race of the year bringing the 2010 Frostbite series to its conclusion, then a few weeks off before our annual Boxing Day race.  Its one race starting at 11:00 followed by some mince pies before heading back home to finish off the turkey sandwiches.  Its then another break from sailing at Paxton Lakes SC until mid February when the sailing season will start again, although there will be the working parties and AGM during the sailing break so there is still a reason to jump in your car and come down to the club.

Just because the racing at Paxton takes a short break in the new year doesn't mean you can't keep your hand in.  There are a number of winter handicaps at clubs not very far from Paxton.

Toby and I will be at the Blood Mary, Battle of the Classes, Tiger & Hoo Feezer in the Flying Dutchman.  If you want a sailors insight into any of these events let me know as I have sailed in most of them multiple times.  Also let me know which you are planning to go to and I'll share a list of Paxton Sailors at each event.

This year for the first time there will be a Paxton Lakes SC trophy for the best overall Paxton boat.  Events to be included will be
Grafham Grand Prix, Bloody Mary, Steve Nicholson Memorial, Tiger Trophy

For the all new Paxton Lakes SC Winter Handicap the trophy the best 2 scores will count and the scores will be based on the overall SailJuice scores on Sail Racer.

Happy Sailing
