The Racing Rules of Sailing 2009-2012 Edition Published Online

The Racing Rules of Sailing for 2009-2012 (RRS) has been made available to download online ahead of the worldwide date of implementation on 1 January 2009.

Details below the link.  I will be putting together a summary of the key changes over the next month or so as I get my head around the new definitions. The biggest change is in relation to rule 18 for rounding marks, the 2 boat length zone is no more.  It is replaced by 3 boat lengths of the leading boat.  For my fellow anoraks or those with trouble sleeping out there enjoy all 157 shiny new pages.
