In order to be compliant with the EU GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) we have written a new privacy policy.

You can read the full policy at this link: Privacy policy

In a nutshell we are a simple organisation and only take what data we need to run the club, and we don't share it with anyone. Sometimes, organisations like the RYA need to obtain information from us but normally this is "anonymised", which means we don't send them names. Examples of this are the participation statistics that the RYA need in order to justify requests for funding for our sport, and another would be the race results we send to them so that the handicap rating system can be updated.

We don't expect any of our members or course participants to be concerned about any of this but if you have any questions please email the secretary. We can very easily tell you what information we keep on you and you won't be surprised to learn that it's only what you told us on a form when you joined or booked a course.
